Eliza Hinkes

With an academic background in history and information science, Eliza is perfectly suited to her role. She is keenly interested in researching, synthesizing, and streamlining the thousands of documents needed to arm her attorneys with meaningful and actionable insights. History and precedent go hand in hand as she catalogs decisions having import on current matters. Her facility with technology allows her to learn and quickly use new software.

Working behind the scenes to enable her team to make the highest and best use of their time is a point of pride for Eliza. In a small firm setting she has opportunity to have greater day to day involvement with the attorneys and is an integral part of the team and the outcomes they produce.

Eliza is responsible for keeping attorneys organized in their day-to-day activities and prepared for upcoming responsibilities and challenges.

Eliza graduated from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill in 2015 with a Bachelor of Science in Information Science and a Bachelor of Arts in American History. She wrote her Information Science Honors Thesis on information overload and information avoidance in college students’ use of social media.
